The strawberries are responding well to the return of the sun. I had no trouble picking a big bucket today. With a good stretch of weather ahead there should be excellent amounts of ripe strawberries for the next week.

Phone (250)338-7750 or email burch@island.net to make an appointment to come and pick. Email is more reliable around here. If you've called and we haven't responded, please call again with your number or better yet, email.

Make the most of local, fresh berries. The strawberries' days are numbered. They rarely produce much beyond September. September has been hard on them but they are keeping up their ever-bearing label and not letting the rain do them in.

Happy last day of summer!

The website is back that is. Recovered again although a little bit different. Email us at burch@island.net if you can't find what you're looking for on the site.

Strawberries are still out in the patch ripening away and they will continue if the weather holds. So berries to be had!
